Dancoly Paris, founded in the late 1960s, blends pure, natural ingredients with an eco-conscious approach to craft professional hair care products. In the pristine environment of Provence, botanist Gilles le Bret was inspired to explore the benefits of botanical extracts for hair health. In 1965, he founded Dancoly Cosmetique, specializing in pure, botanical-based cosmetics. Four years later, Dancoly Spa introduced the first botanic extract and oil-infused products, catering to diverse hair needs.

In 1980, le Bret's research led to deep-sea plant essence for hair repair. With the collaboration of top French hair stylist George Girartin, Angel series emerged in 1982, quickly becoming a prominent brand in the hair beauty industry.
